Working with an entrepreneur in Kuwait, we helped bring a unique idea to life with PlayClawzy — a real-world claw machine connected to the internet through custom hardware APIs. The challenge was not just building a website, but creating a near real-time gaming experience where players could remotely see, control, and interact with a physical machine from anywhere.
Our Grayhat team designed and developed the frontend and backend experience around this hardware integration, collaborating closely with hardware engineers to bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds. Players could join a queue, enter a live game session when their turn arrived, control the claw through intuitive on-screen controls, and claim prizes that could then be shipped directly to them.
Beyond the core gameplay loop, we expanded the platform with user profiles, operational monitoring tools, bug reporting systems, and additional social-first concepts including a TikTok-integrated experience that allowed users to discover and jump directly into the game.
